11th August 2004:
Following several days of torrential rain, which almost washed out the event, Alistair performed a set at the annual Danby Agricultural Show (partially with backing track, partly Acoustic with accompaniment from Waggo on keybords).
In the end, the sun shone for the set, before the rain returned. Sadly, Al failed yet again to win the honours in the Lemon Curd competition, beaten by Mrs Cornforth, who won the `Alistair Griffin trophy for lifetime achievement in the field of Lemon Flavoured Preserves` - honest!!
